    220407-N-JX182-2012 PHILIPPINE SEA (April 7, 2022) Engineman 2nd Class Ivin Tyson, from Middletown, New York, removes chocks and chains from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) Squadron 23, assigned to the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson (LCS 6), as it prepares for lift-off aboard Jackson. Jackson, part of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 7, is on a rotational deployment, operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
