YOKOSUKA, Japan (Mar. 17, 2022) Capt. Rich Jarrett, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), left Amy Rule, wife of Ambassador Rahm Emmanuel, Capt. Tim DeWitt, Commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Far East, and other members of the Ajisai revitalization project cut a ribbon in commemoration of the reopening of Ajisai Heights. Ajisai Heights was recently revitalized as a project to improve housing onboard CFAY. The furnishings were provided by the Navy Exchange Furniture Store. For 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
