A TMQ-53 tactical meteorological observation system sits fully assembled on the airfield at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Feb. 25, 2022. The portable weather station is normally used in deployed and austere locations to provide crucial weather data such as temperature; wind direction and speed; humidity; visibility; cloud height; lightning strikes and other data that flyers need to be able to safely take off and land. This TMQ-53 was installed at Tinker AFB to support the base during a scheduled weather sensor server upgrade. (U.S. Air Force photo by Paul Shirk)
