Latvian Lt. Col. Intars Jundze, commander, Joint Headquarters of the Latvian Armed Forces, receives U.S. Army Lt. Col. Mark Bush, commander, 3rd Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment, as they cross the Latvian border while in a tactical road march during Saber Strike 22 on Feb. 26, 2022. Under the command and control of V Corps, the regiment conducted a winter tactical road march over 1500 km from Germany to Latvia to demonstrate its ability to deploy in an austere environment, foster multinational relationships, and increase interoperability with its NATO Allies and partners.
