Dallas Texas -- Texas National Guardsman from 36th Sustainment Brigade do their part in granting the wish of 101 year-old WWII veteran, Jim Niederer, with a ride along in a military truck, Saturday Feb. 19, 2022. Mr. Niederer thanked the military members from his seat in the LMTV, "Danke Schoen for everybody, it's people like ya'll that have made my experience worth while," he said. As a well decorated WWII Soldier from the 36th Infantry Division he survived beach invasions, German Shelling and the liberation of concentration camps. He ran supplies to the front lines in six-by-six trucks and his wish was to ride in a military truck one more time.
