Craig Chandler, chief instructor, Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) Bridgeport, Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command, informs Marines of 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment on the characteristics and dangers of avalanche prone terrain during the Tactical Exercise Without Troops (TEWT) at MCMWTC Bridgeport, California, Jan. 25, 2022. The TEWT is designed to give command staff and section leaders of the training units firsthand experience with the taxing terrain that their Marines would be training in, ultimately helping improve their decision making and expectations during the Mountain Training Exercise.
