Cataldo, Idaho native, Maj. He said at one point his unit had roughly 12 percent of soldiers on the ground isolated or quarantined due to omicron. 1-2 SBCT is the first unit to train at the Fort Irwin, Calif. training center since the omicron variant of COVID-19 began spreading rapidly across the United States.
