A Soldier from Task Force Gator's 53rd Infantry Brigade plunges into the freezing water in the village of Yavorivsky National Park, Wednesday, January 19th. The event is a local and religious tradition of Eastern Christianity that commemorates the baptism of Jesus Christ at Epiphany. In a rare opportunity, soldiers were given the opportunity to take the plunge alongside local ukrainian citizens. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Spencer Rhodes, 53rd IBCT)
