Airman 1st Class Austin Doll, an airfield management operations coordinator assigned to the 39th Operations Support Squadron is responsible for the maintenance of runways, lighting and other airfield components and systems to ensure that all takeoffs and landings proceed without incident at Incirlik Air Base. Doll ensures aircraft maintain their ability to take off at a moment’s notice by keeping runways clear of foreign objects and communicating any hazards to pilots. The 39th OSS leads airfield and support operations to orchestrate U.S., NATO and partner nation forces operating at Incirlik AB in the execution of global reach, full-spectrum airpower and deterrence operations.
