Coast Guard Cutter Healy (WAGB 20) observes the Northern Lights streaking across the sky while operating above the Arctic Circle in Baffin Bay, Oct. 3, 2021. Homeported in Seattle, Washington, the Healy’s crew annually deploys to the Arctic to conduct high latitude Coast Guard missions including icebreaking operations and supporting oceanographic research with members embarked from the international science community.
