The Coast Guard Cutter Healy (WAGB 20) breaks through Arctic ice as the crew transits the Northwest Passage, Sept. 2, 2021. Healy, a 420-foot medium icebreaker, departed its Seattle homeport in July to conduct Coast Guard missions in addition to supporting oceanographic research during its circumnavigation of North America.
