1st Battalion, 168th Aviation Support Regiment (General Support Aviation Battalion) Operations Officer Maj. Adam Hanisch, center farthest seat, and 1-168th GSAB Commander Lt. Col. Tyler Smentek attend a groundbreaking ceremony for a new rotational combat aviation brigade headquarters facility on Camp Buehring, Kuwait. The new facility will not only house an entire, future aviation unit staff but will be closer to the airfield and tailored to aviation specific requirements. The designer for the CAB HQ is the United States Army Corps of Engineers Middle East District. The Transatlantic Expeditionary District will be responsible for execution. The contractor will be MVL.
