A service member with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force cuts a pineapple into slices during the annual Multinational Force Culinary Competition at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Dec. 16, 2021. The MCAS Iwakuni Food Service Office and the JMSDF hosted the two-day competition to recognize food service excellence and teamwork by testing participants’ culinary skills within a set time limit and requiring the use of pre-determined ingredients for their dishes.
