U.S. Air Force Airmen and civilians assigned to the 735th Air Mobility Squadron, prepare a Tunner 60K loader to unload a Granular Activated Carbon water filtration system from a C-17 Globemaster III military cargo aircraft to support the water quality recovery efforts at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Dec. 16, 2021. The JBPHH water quality recovery is a joint U.S. military initiative working closely with the State of Hawaii, Department of Health, Honolulu Board of Water Supply, U.S. government and independent organizations to restore a safe water delivery system to JBPHH military housing communities through testing, treatment, and repair.
