    Marine Corps Installations Command

Located aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, originally Naval Air Station Kaneohe Bay, a marker identifies the location of a Japanese aircraft impact site of the senior aircraft commander, First Lieutenant Fusata Iida, who was killed during the second wave of attacks on Pearl Harbor and other Navy, Army and Air Force bases on December 7, 1941.

MCICOM exercises command and control of Marine Corps installations via regional commanders in order to provide oversight, direction and coordination of installation services and to optimize support to the Operating Forces, tenants and activities. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Erin Rohn)
