Japan Ground Self-Defense Force soldiers assigned to the 1st Airborne Brigade descend over Hijudai drop zone, Japan, Nov. 15, 2021. Yokota’s 374th Airlift Wing and JGSDF’s 1st Airborne Brigade organized this demonstration of interoperability, bi-lateral training, and the capability to execute a large force insertion on a drop zone of more than 200 personnel.
