211107-M-VL720-1164 OVDA AIR FORCE BASE, Israel (Nov. 7, 2021) Airmen assigned to the 61st Expeditionary Airlift Squadron prepare a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) for transport in an Air Force C-130J Super Hercules during a during a fires interoperability exercise at Ovda Air Force Base, Israel, Nov. 7. This is the United States’ and Israel’s first bilateral training since Israel joined the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and is a robust demonstration of both nations’ commitment to stability in the region.
