211107-M-VL720-1098 OVDA AIR FORCE BASE, Israel (Nov. 7, 2021) Marines assigned to 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit load a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) onto an Air Force C-130J Super Hercules attached to the 61st Expeditionary Airlift Squadron during a fires interoperability exercise at Ovda Air Force Base, Israel, Nov. 7. This is the United States’ and Israel’s first bilateral training since Israel joined the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and is a robust demonstration of both nations’ commitment to stability in the region.
