Michael Sefcik, an instructor assigned to the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), Detachment Southeast, provides an on-camera interview explaining the Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment (STAVE) scenarios in the Integrated Tactical Trainer 1B (ITT-1B), Oct. 25, 2021. All Sailors and officers assigned to a littoral combat ship train in watch stations using virtual-reality technology, and are required to demonstrate proficiency in their respective watch stations before manning live, shipboard watches.
