(Oct. 25, 2021) Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Anderson Branch, assigned to Navy Public Affairs Support Element East, Detachment Southeast, documents Sailors assigned to the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship (PCU) Minneapolis-Saint Paul (LCS 21) during Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment (STAVE) scenarios in the Integrated Tactical Trainer 1B (ITT-1B) at Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), Detachment Southeast, Littoral Training Facility, on Oct. 25, 2021. All Sailors and officers assigned to an LCS train in watch stations using virtual-reality technology, and are required to demonstrate proficiency in their respective watch stations before manning live, shipboard watches.
