Traci Walker, assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command, Portsmouth, Virginia, wipes the mouth of an ICU patient at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Washington, Oct. 24, 2021. Walker is a registered nurse and has assisted the hospital by providing care to ICU patients. Sailors assigned to NMRTC deployed from Portsmouth, Virginia, in support of the continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the whole-of-government COVID response.
