U.S. Navy Ens. Traci Walker, assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command, Portsmouth, Virginia, checks an ICU patient’s intravenous while in support of the COVID-19 response operations at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Washington, Oct. 24, 2021. Walker is part of a medical response team who deployed from multiple locations to assist the hospital in their time of need. Sailors assigned to NMRTC deployed from Portsmouth, Virginia, in support of the continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the whole-of-government COVID response.
