211026-N-RF825-1089 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 26, 2021) – Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro congratulates Yeoman 3rd Class Aylin Vasquez, from Lake Elsinore, California, as Junior Sailor of the Year for the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). During Del Toro’s visit, he provided a message to the crew during an all hands call. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
