Kristin Rowe, 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron support staff section commander, torques the valve stem on an F-35A Lightning II main wheel hub assembly Oct. 14, 2021, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. During the wheel and tire assembly process, Airmen will torque the valve stem 50-60 inch pounds, to ensure there is a tight seal and no air loss on the tire.
