211010-N-FA490-1126 APRA HARBOR, GUAM (Oct. 10, 2021) Chief Gunner’s Mate Andres De Los Santos, from Stockton, Calif., passes information over a Ship-wide Interior Wireless Communication System (SWICS) in the mission bay of the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson (LCS 6). Jackson, part of Destroyer Squadron Seven, is on a rotational deployment, is operating in the U.S. 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of free and open Indo-Pacific region.
