    A British Royal Marine with 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines conducts ladder well close-quarters battle (CQB) techniques during exercise Tartan Eagle at Naval Support Activity Northwest Annex, Chesapeake, Virginia, Sept. 17, 2021. CQB training along stairs and ladder wells allowed British Royal Marines to efficiently engage an enemy from a vertical angle.
