A. Steinhagen Lake. The hunt started in 2012 and is hosted by PWSA with cooperation from Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District. The purpose of the hunt is to honor the veterans, give them a fun event where they can see that folks appreciate what they have done for the country, create a time where they can visit with other vets in similar circumstances, and help manage the resource.
