U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Hussein S. Abdi, a Columbus, Ohio, native and motor transport operator with 2d Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2d Marine Division, poses for a photo on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 16, 2021. “We got this,” Abdi said. “Easy day!” According to his leadership, Abdi constantly demonstrates his ability to lead, set the example, and serve as an exemplary Marine to his peers and seniors.
