Social Worker Susan Jacobson packages together inspirational letters and cards designed by Vicenza’s Youth in the “Welcome to America” project in support of Afghan evacuees on September 13. Jacobson says the purpose of this project was for Vicenza’s Youth to connect with children from Afghanistan in acts of compassion and kindness hoping the Afghan evacuees would gain a sense of light motivation comfort.
