The “Welcome to America” project originating from the planning of Social Worker Susan Jacobson granted the cooperation of USO Vicenza for artwork display and later rafting the letters and cards together for them to be sent to the evacuees on September 13. Vicenza Center Operations Manager Nick Jenkins replied that Jacobson reached out to USO and pitched the idea is how they connected.
