Drew Moore, a Transmissions System Operator both with Alpha Battery, 2nd LAAD Battalion, assigned to Marine Air Control Group 18, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing use a radio during a ground threat reaction training event with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 462 in Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 9, 2021. 2nd LAAD and HMH-462 conducted the training event to improve their skills and proficiency with both aerial maneuvers and the Stinger Launch Simulator.
