ARLINGTON, Va. (Sept. 09, 2021) Retired U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Chris Braman speaks to Sailors assigned to the Chief of Naval Operations staff days before the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Braman was stationed at the Pentagon at that time. During a Sailor 360 session, he described his experience as a survivor and Soldier who felt the need to step up during this tragic attack. Braman served as a recovery team non-commissioned officer in charge (NCOIC). He is credited with evacuating personnel, saving lives, and helping to recover fallen personnel with dignity and honor.
