ARLINGTON, Va. (Sept. 10, 2021) Airman Andrew Long reads an inscribed excerpt from the poem “For the Fallen” in the Pentagon’s Navy Reflection Room. The Navy Reflection Room was formerly the site of the Navy Operations Center, destroyed during the attack on the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001. At the center of the room stands a large stone monolith, bearing the names of U.S. Navy personnel who died during the attack, beneath the header “Lest We Forget”.
