NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Sept. 2, 2021) – A U.S. Navy Sailor and volunteers unload donations from the United States and Canadian Embassies in Rome sent in support of Operation Allies Refuge at Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella, Sept. 2, 2021. NAS Sigonella is currently supporting the Department of State mission to facilitate the safe departure and relocation of U.S. citizens, Special Immigration Visa recipients, and vulnerable populations from Afghanistan.
