U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Civil Affairs Group (1/8 CAG), and Sheik Turki, left, evaluate the condition of the channels around the area in the city of Ar Ramadi, Iraq, Oct. 7. The 1/8 CAG frequently travels around their area of operations to survey reconstruction projects that they are involved with. The 1-8 CAG is deployed with Multi-National Forces - West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq.
