    Victory Corps

    Once committed to the defense of Western Europe, the years between 1952 and 1990 was therefore essential to operations for every year of the Cold War. The "Victory Corps" assumed responsibility for conducting U.S. Army Europe and Africa operations plans for the general defense of Germany from any attack by the Warsaw Pact forces.
