A Coast Guard HC-144 aircrew spots a group of 48 Haitian migrants stranded on Monito Cay, Puerto Rico during a routine patrol in the Mona Passage Aug. 11, 2021.  The Coast Guard Cutter Winslow Griesser rescued the migrants the next day with the assistance of Puerto Rico Police marine units, and transported them to Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, where they transferred to U.S. Border Patrol custody and assisted.  (U.S. Coast Guard photo)
