Luke Lunsford, assistant warehouse chief, Supply Detachment, Combat Logistics Battalion 13, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Fruitvale, Texas, native, practices using a jackhammer on reinforced concrete during urban search and rescue training at the San Francisco Fire Department Treasure Island Training Facility, Oct. 5, 2012. Marines and Sailors with CLB-13, spent the morning learning how to clear obstacles and reach survivors of collapsed buildings as part the 2012 San Francisco Fleet Week. From Oct. 3-8, Marines and Sailors of the 13th MEU, I Marine Expeditionary Brigade, will participate in numerous community outreach events including the Italian Heritage Day parade, urban search and rescue demonstration, park restoration projects and hospital visits.
