SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany – Bora, a 12-year-old German Shepherd, was an explosive detection dog with the 52nd Security Forces Squadron at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. She was retired in 2020 to health issues, and subsequently adopted by local resident Christine Gerber and her family.
