Richard Hickley, a retired fire chief from the Fire Department of the City of New York, Peter Park, a resident of Champaign, Ill., Nick Beach, a resident of Dresden, Ohio, and Gunnery Sgt. Sam Erwin, the company gunnery sergeant for Headquarters Company, 6th Communications Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, move to the first firefighter training event put on for wounded warriors. Park, Beach and a group of other wounded warriors visited the New York City Fire Academy located on Randall's Island on Sept. 29.
