"Take it to the top or you might as well stop," said U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Verona Williams, from Columbus, Ga., at the Camp As Sayliyah dining facility on Dec. 3. Williams, the installation food service officer, ignited major improvements in food service operations in 2007 – to include over $200,000 in renovations. For her efforts, the Area Support Qatar commander was awarded the Third Army/U.S. Army Central Phillip A. Connelly Award, designating the Army's best dining facility in Southwest Asia. Williams and her staff will be inspected on Dec. 6 for a Department of the Army Connelly Award.
