A large coal-laden barge is secured within a river lock chamber, with two workers visible on the barge deck managing lines and operations. The lock infrastructure includes yellow safety railings, concrete lock walls, and construction scaffolding visible in the background. The setting appears to be an active inland waterway lock facility, likely on a river in the eastern United States based on the surrounding terrain.
