U.S. Army Soldiers from 1-228th Aviation Battalion, Soto Cano Air Base Honduras, and residents of San Jose de Ocoa off-loads food and supplies from a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk which support the distribution of humanitarian aid to isolated communities in the Dominican Republic. U.S. Southern Command Forces deployed to conduct operations in support of Tropical Storm Noel disaster relief in the Dominican Republic. This operation is a USSOUTHCOM-directed operation within the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility under the commander of U.S. Army South.
