Army Reserve Spc. Luke P. Frist was one of the fallen warriors the "Brickyard" Soldiers of the Army Reserve's Indianapolis-based 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, to staff the 1st Theater Sustainment Command's operational command post, honored at the "Gold Mile," part of their May 16, 2021, hosting of a shadow running of their hometown's Mini Marathon through the camp. Frist, deployed to Iraq with the 209th Quartermaster Company, died Jan. 5, 2004, from wounds he received in an IED attack in Baghdad. The 310th ESC is headquartered in the SPC Luke P.
