A UH-60 Medevac Black Hawk helicopter, operated by Soldiers with Charlie Company, 2-1 General Support Aviation Battalion, 1st Combat Aviation Brigade lands at Tuzla international airport, Bosnia and Herzegovina May 16. in support of Immediate response 21.
Immediate Response 21 is a logistics-focused exercise designed to test and improve moving forces and equipment rapidly from one location to another by both BiH Armed Forces and U.S. Armed Forces. Immediate Response 21 is part of DEFENDER-Europe 21, an extensive multinational exercise designed to ensure that U.S. forces and participating NATO forces are trained, able to operate together and respond to any threat from any direction.
