U.S. Naval Ship Yuma arrives to the port authority in Zadar, Croatia on May 4, 2021. The ship carried more than 40 pieces of U.S. military equipment to support Soldiers during DEFENDER-Europe 21. Croatian, British and U.S. soldiers joined forces at the port to download and transport the equipment to a local military installation where it will be used in future joint training events in Croatia. The joint port operation builds strategic readiness in support of the National Defense Strategy and NATO deterrence objectives. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Alexandra Shea)
