William Nichelson, an Anderson, Indiana native and combat engineer with the 776th Brigade Engineer Battalion stationed Winchester, Indiana, guides outgoing traffic at the state-led, federally-supported Community Vaccination Center (CVC) at the former Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana, April 28, 2021. The CVC began administering second doses for community members who received their primary dose at the vaccination center 21 days prior, and the CVC will continue to administer primary doses as well. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
