U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Bryce Burgmann, a Bridgeton, New Jersey native and administration specialist with the 20th Component Maintenance Squadron stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, assigned to the 2nd Detachment, 64th Air Expeditionary Group, hands out vaccines to the different vaccination stations at the state-led, federally-supported Community Vaccination Center (CVC) at the former Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana, April 28, 2021. The CVC began administering second doses for community members who received their primary dose at the vaccination center 21 days prior, and the CVC will continue to administer primary doses as well. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
