U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Edward R. Blaha III, a native of Whichita, K.S. and a remote weapons coordinator with 2d Assault Amphibian Battalion (2d AABN), 2d Marine Division, poses for a photo on Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 28, 2021. According to his leadership, Blaha has shown leadership, tact and organizational capabilities more advanced than that of his peers. He is capable of interacting with and conducting briefs for senior Marines within battalion maintenance without hesitation. Blaha also oversees the remote weapons system section where he is responsible for coordinating with 2d AABN's field service representative and compnay maintenace chiefs for the inspection and logistical movements. While under Blaha's surveillance, the vehicles recieve the modifications to the weapons station that increases the overall lethality and combat support capabilities of the family of vehicles.
