U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Sydney Smith, a combat videographer with 2d Marine Division, documents the delivery of a Joint Precision Airdrop System (JPADS) as part of Exercise Rolling Thunder 21.2 on Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 27, 2021. JPADS provided a rapid and precise delivery system of supplies and weapon systems to ground units. Rolling Thunder is a live-fire artillery exercise where Marines with 10th Marine Regiment employed distributed fires via simulated Expeditionary Advanced Bases to increase lethality.
